Structural Products Tube & Pipe Heating
Induction heating of tube & pipe products requires a power source and a dedicated induction heating station. Over the years at AIH, several installations were built to complement in-line heating of pipes and structural products for the following applications :
- O.D. pipe coating
- Galvanizing
- Seam annealing
- End of pipe heat treating for oil exploration and mining industries
AIH induction heating systems can be incorporated into any pipe or structural product heating operation. They can be used to heat small or large tubes for any in-line speed production - simply by an installation of a dedicated heating inductor, connected to a solid state power source, at the nominated in-line tube mill position.
